IMG_0305Today’s ten spellings are all hyphenated. Again, as far as possible, all the spellings are based on the New Oxford Style Manual and the OED. Don’t forget to check out the other posts on spellings and common mistakes in the bite-sized tips series.

2. decision-maker (and decision-making)

3. call-out (hyphenated when it’s a noun. Not hyphenated when used as a verb)

4. year-on-year

5. socio-economic

6. non-linear

7. know-how

8. top-notch

9. Wi-Fi (and note the capital letters too)

10. long-standing
