Master’s in Translation and Language Services – University of Porto, Porto
Languages: English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish; and Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Russian if enough students are interested.
In the first two semesters students improve their skills, learn theory and how to use CAT tools. In the third semester areas such as terminology management, localisation, legal, economic and financial translations and community interpreting are covered. In the fourth and fifth semesters students practise the skills they have acquired in an internship.
The programme is a member of the European Masters in Translation (EMT) Network.
