Language combinations: Slovene-English-German, Slovene-English-French and Slovene-English-Italian
The master’s programme in interpreting trains students to interpret consecutively and simultaneously in business, technical and political contexts. They are trained to work either independently or in a group. The course also includes text translation, a three-week work placement and a final dissertation.

The Joint Master’s Degree Programme in Interpreting (Slovene-English-German) has been developed by the Department of Translation, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana and the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Translation Studies, University of Graz.
The course includes one obligatory semester abroad.

The Joint Master’s Degree Programme in Translation (Slovene-English-French) has been developed by the Department of Translation, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, ISIT (Institut supérieur d’Interprétation et de Traduction) and INALCO (Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales), Paris.
The course includes one obligatory semester abroad.

Translation MA – University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana
Language combinations: Slovene-English-German, Slovene-English-French and Slovene-English-Italian
The master’s programme in translation trains students to translate a variety of text types in areas such as economics, law, natural sciences, social sciences, electronic media, computer science, the arts and literary texts. They also learn how to edit and format texts required by public and private institutions and to work with terminology and computer-aided translation tools (CATs). The course also trains translators in technical and literary translation, subtitling, localisation and lexicography. It includes a three-week work placement and a final dissertation.
