FAQ

I wrote you an email asking for a job. Why didn’t you reply?

If you are looking for translation work and have sent me your CV, please read Working for Tranix and also my Privacy Notice to learn how I handle your personal data.

I am not an agency and I very rarely outsource.

I wrote you an email offering to write a guest post for your blog. Why didn’t you reply?

If you want to write a guest post for this blog, My Words for a Change, please read: Tranvoicix.

As it says on that page, I’ll ignore any requests that are not linked to translation, interpreting, copywriting, editing and freelancing.

I will also ignore all requests that offer to pay me to host your guest post. Nobody has been paid to write a post for this blog and I have never been paid to publish a post. That’s not going to change.

I wrote you an email offering an affiliate link. Why didn’t you reply?

If you have offered me an affiliate link, please note that I’ve not been paid for any of the links on this site.  I decide which sites to link to on the Useful Links and Links & Tips for New Translators pages. If I don’t reply to you, it’s because I don’t think the link you’ve suggested is suitable for my website. Most of the links on this site are concerned with translation, interpreting, copywriting, editing and freelancing. Please bear that in mind before contacting me with a suggestion.

I wrote you an email offering our SEO services. Why didn’t you reply?

I am not interested in hiring anyone offering SEO services for this website.

The main reason why I don’t reply to emails is because I receive a lot of the above requests. Most are spam and I don’t have the time to sort out what is real from what is not. Please be aware that if you continue to send me spammy emails against my wishes, I will report you to the ICO under GDPR rules.
